First sketch. Stuff is pretty unclear, but things like the gaps between the fingers and overall spacing was planned for.
I modeled the base pretty easily, and cut a hole for the actual stand. This was back when I planned on using two rectangles to achieve the full length and some weird block mechanism to lock them in place. It wasn't that good of an idea.
I sketched four rectangles and extruded them at different lengths for the fingers. The even spacing between each was intentional.
I then realized how bad my "two rectangles" idea was, so I scrapped it.
This was what I first showed Anghelos, upon which he told me that the hard corners would ruin my gloves (they were already ruined due to my long nails at the time, but I digress), so I smoothed out the sides.
So, how's the final product?
...not good. It's too small, like not even half of my actual hand. I made a mistake measuring the glove when it was flat on the ground, not taking into account the actual depth of my hand. How unfortunate.
